Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book an appointment in advance?

We recommend booking ahead to secure your preferred time and therapist, especially on weekends and evenings. You’re welcome to call your local Lee Massage & Acupuncture clinic or book online any time.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Loose, comfortable clothing is best. For remedial or deep tissue massage, you may be asked to undress to your comfort level; you’ll always be professionally draped and your privacy respected throughout the treatment.

How early should I arrive before my session?

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time to complete a brief health form (for new clients) and settle in, so your full treatment time can be spent on your massage.

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, so we can offer the time to another client. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee – please contact your clinic directly for details.

Do you accept health fund rebates?

Many of our remedial massage and acupuncture services are eligible for private health insurance rebates. Please bring your health fund card so we can process on-the-spot claims where available, or check with your provider beforehand.

Is massage suitable during pregnancy or if I have an injury?

Yes, we offer pregnancy-safe massage techniques, and our therapists tailor each treatment to your needs. Please let us know about any injuries, pain, pregnancy, or medical conditions when booking or at the start of your session so we can adjust the treatment accordingly.

I usually get my massages done elsewhere, but today I decided to give this place a try — and I’m so glad I did😍. Hui did an amazing job🤗. She immediately understood all my pain points and gave a proper massage that relieved so much tension in my back and even my ankle and foot. I got a full body massage, and the heated beds made the experience even more relaxing and comfortable❤️.

The receptionist — I forgot to ask his name — was very welcoming and explained everything clearly from the beginning. I also tried cupping therapy for the first time and absolutely loved it💟. Overall, it was such a great experience, and I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you!

I’ve been coming to Lee Massage Wollongong Central for a while now and they’re consistently excellent. The team are very friendly and always recognise me when I come in, which makes a big difference.

The massages are genuinely relaxing and not rushed or overly rough like you sometimes get elsewhere. The space is also always clean and well presented.

Highly recommend!

I had an excellent experience at Lee Massage & Acupuncture! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and relaxed. The environment is very clean, calm, and professional.

My therapist, Kuhn, is incredibly skilled and attentive. He quickly identified the areas where I had the most tension and worked on them with the perfect amount of pressure.

My Mum asked what I wanted for my birthday, and without a second thought, I asked for a voucher for Lee Massage at Wollongong Central. I’ve been a client for 4 years, and I knew exactly which therapist and treatment I needed.

A huge shout-out to my favorite, HANSON! 😍

I booked 80 minutes of deep tissue massage, and for the veterans out there, you know this is no walk in the park!
Hanson is experienced and knowledgeable; he transformed two years of tension, knots, and painful tightness into pliable muscle tissue. He never rushes; he is on point, present, and compassionate.

I also added 15 minutes of foot reflexology. I have incredibly ticklish feet, but Hanson’s skill and pressure were so precise that all I felt was deep relaxation.

If I could give a rating, it would be 10/5 stars! ⭐️

Thank you, Hanson, and the team at Lee Massage!

I have been enjoying feet reflexology, full body massage, hot stone massage, cupping and more for years at Lee's massage Wollongong.
The staff are very friendly and great at what they do. They have helped me through sports injuries and work on my tired feet and legs after a long week of work.
I highly recommend to everyone.
