Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book an appointment in advance?

We recommend booking ahead to secure your preferred time and therapist, especially on weekends and evenings. You’re welcome to call your local Lee Massage & Acupuncture clinic or book online any time.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Loose, comfortable clothing is best. For remedial or deep tissue massage, you may be asked to undress to your comfort level; you’ll always be professionally draped and your privacy respected throughout the treatment.

How early should I arrive before my session?

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time to complete a brief health form (for new clients) and settle in, so your full treatment time can be spent on your massage.

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, so we can offer the time to another client. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee – please contact your clinic directly for details.

Do you accept health fund rebates?

Many of our remedial massage and acupuncture services are eligible for private health insurance rebates. Please bring your health fund card so we can process on-the-spot claims where available, or check with your provider beforehand.

Is massage suitable during pregnancy or if I have an injury?

Yes, we offer pregnancy-safe massage techniques, and our therapists tailor each treatment to your needs. Please let us know about any injuries, pain, pregnancy, or medical conditions when booking or at the start of your session so we can adjust the treatment accordingly.

Great massage. I walked in with a lot of shoulder pain and greatly reduced mobility... 40 minutes later, walked out with my mobility restored. While the pain didn't disappear instantly, the massage definitely relieved it and a couple of days later, I'm pain free. I wish I knew the name of the lady who did my massage. She zeroed in on those sore spots as if by magic and did a wonderful job. 🙏

I usually avoid going to get massages because I’m an introvert and I cower away from the potential social interaction of having to make awkward conversation while half naked. If you’re like me, ask for Lily. She released a year worth of pain in an hour of tranquil silence. Highly recommend

I accidentally lost my wedding ring during my visit and was absolutely devastated. It means so much to me, both emotionally and financially. The next morning, I found out the team had honestly found it and kept it safely for me. I cannot thank them enough for their integrity and kindness. On top of that, the massage was amazing, the service was excellent, and the prices were very fair. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.
