Do I need to book an appointment in advance?

We recommend booking ahead to secure your preferred time and therapist, especially on weekends and evenings. You’re welcome to call your local Lee Massage & Acupuncture clinic or book online any time.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Loose, comfortable clothing is best. For remedial or deep tissue massage, you may be asked to undress to your comfort level; you’ll always be professionally draped and your privacy respected throughout the treatment.

How early should I arrive before my session?

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time to complete a brief health form (for new clients) and settle in, so your full treatment time can be spent on your massage.

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, so we can offer the time to another client. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee – please contact your clinic directly for details.

Do you accept health fund rebates?

Many of our remedial massage and acupuncture services are eligible for private health insurance rebates. Please bring your health fund card so we can process on-the-spot claims where available, or check with your provider beforehand.

Is massage suitable during pregnancy or if I have an injury?

Yes, we offer pregnancy-safe massage techniques, and our therapists tailor each treatment to your needs. Please let us know about any injuries, pain, pregnancy, or medical conditions when booking or at the start of your session so we can adjust the treatment accordingly.

I have been attending Lee Massage for about five years and have always been happy with the service, so I wanted to provide some feedback about my recent visit. My husband and I attended our scheduled massage on Sunday, 27 September. While we were waiting for our session, three other customers arrived, who I believe also had bookings. I noticed that the new receptionist was having some difficulty communicating clearly with the customers. On several occasions, I found myself explaining to the other customers what the receptionist was trying to tell them. I understand that everyone has different communication styles, and I am not making this feedback to be critical of her personally. However, clear communication is particularly important at reception, especially when dealing with several customers and confirming appointments or instructions. As mentioned, I have been coming to Lee Massage for around five years and have never experienced this issue previously. Musa, the previous receptionist, was always very clear, friendly and effective when communicating with customers. Overall, I am happy with the massage service, and this feedback is simply intended to help improve the customer experience. I hope the receptionist can receive some support or guidance with customer communication, as I would like to continue enjoying the service I have received from Lee Massage over the years. Special mention to Emily, who has always been such a wonderful masseuse. She is professional, attentive and always makes sure you leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. So good! I tried my luck and just walked in hoping for a 30min foot, 30min seated shoulder massage. The receptionist was friendly and warm and showed me to my seat with a hot tea. Muse did my massage and it was incredible. A real massage, working on the sore points she asked me about. She even asked why I wanted to have my shoulder massage seated because she was concerned about the pressure on my lower back. I felt like she genuinely cared about my well being.
