Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book an appointment in advance?

We recommend booking ahead to secure your preferred time and therapist, especially on weekends and evenings. You’re welcome to call your local Lee Massage & Acupuncture clinic or book online any time.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Loose, comfortable clothing is best. For remedial or deep tissue massage, you may be asked to undress to your comfort level; you’ll always be professionally draped and your privacy respected throughout the treatment.

How early should I arrive before my session?

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time to complete a brief health form (for new clients) and settle in, so your full treatment time can be spent on your massage.

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, so we can offer the time to another client. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee – please contact your clinic directly for details.

Do you accept health fund rebates?

Many of our remedial massage and acupuncture services are eligible for private health insurance rebates. Please bring your health fund card so we can process on-the-spot claims where available, or check with your provider beforehand.

Is massage suitable during pregnancy or if I have an injury?

Yes, we offer pregnancy-safe massage techniques, and our therapists tailor each treatment to your needs. Please let us know about any injuries, pain, pregnancy, or medical conditions when booking or at the start of your session so we can adjust the treatment accordingly.

I have been a going to Lee Massage for a few years now as their service is the absolute best! All of the staff are welcoming, professional and kind. Nita and Rose are amazing when it comes to deep tissue massage. Although they are not a relaxing massage, they are the absolute best at sorting out deep tissue aches and always ask if the pressure is ok. I highly recommend Lee Massage!

Highly recommend this massage shop! The receptionist, Emily, is super friendly and attentive. She not only helped me arrange the appointment smoothly but also patiently answered all my questions, which made me feel really well taken care of. The massage therapist is very professional and adjusted the pressure according to my needs, which made the whole session really comfortable and helped relieve my long-term fatigue and tension. I’m very satisfied with the experience – thank you Emily and the therapist for the great service! I’ll definitely come back again.

First timer, such a calm relaxing experience. Masseuse techniques released knots I didn't even know I had, providing relief and increased flexibility. I highly recommend this for anyone needing serious tension relief; the deep, professional pressure was exactly what my body needed! Will be back.
